Marriage & Family Life : The Story Behind the Innovative BabyDeck Stroller

Marriage & Family Life

Prior to the arrival of the BabyDeck Stroller, parents have suffered a lot of embarrassment while changing their baby's diapers in public restrooms that are often crowded, unhygienic, and short of adequate facilities for easy diaper-changing. Cleaning the baby at public stations and changing his/her diapers also runs the risk of bacterial and rotaviral infections that can sometimes become a serious illness of bowels for the child. The arrival of the BabyDeck Stroller is likely to change the situation by allowing parents and caregivers to go out on a recreational walk or picnic without worrying about rushing to the nearest diaper-changing station (babies need to have their diapers changed every two hours). It's indeed a cheerful prospect for parents. The question why was this necessity overlooked so far?

Well, not everyone who has the sense of necessity own the guts to take the first step. The innovation of manufacturing a stroller seat with an in-built folding table for diaper changing is credited to a caring couple of Texan parents named Ken and Jane. The couple was out with their three-month-old baby boy Ethan and other family members, enjoying a family reunion in San Antonio theme park.

It was a hot summer day and Ethan needed a diaper-changing episode. Jane started looking for a nearby restroom and, at length, located one. To her disappointment, the restroom was crowded and there was no clean changing table for the baby to place on and an irritated Jane had to finish the job while laying Ethan on a dirty platform at an end of the restroom.

To forestall this trouble in future, Ken sold their compact car and got a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that is more spacious than an average car. The solution came out to be temporary and not so effective. The car couldn't go everywhere with the family while nature's call could reach Ethan anytime and anywhere. So the baby needed to be rushed back to the car every time the diapers needed to be changed. The frustrated Texan couple then realized that the only solution to this problem was a stroller that allowed changing the baby's diapers anywhere and anytime without requiring the baby to be rushed elsewhere. This idea resulted in the invention of the BabyDeck Stroller.

The story of the BabyDeck Stroller is similar to that of Newton and the apple. Many people would have experienced the need but one mind in thousands clicked on its creative ability to make a difference in other people's lives.
